Alyssa Jos: Plant artist

Alyssa Jos is an artist who designs surfaces using the potential of nature through dead leaves collected from Paris’ ground. A craft process based researches for a creative process that is both innovative and respectful of the environment.
Alyssa aims to enhance these leaves to stimulate and delight our senses.
She uses mainly flat surfaces, to which she adds a number of technical processes such as sewing, criss-crossing and cut-outs to create surprising weavings. In this way, the plant is transformed into a high-end work of art, a testament to Alyssa’s talent.
