Denis Felix: Portrait photographer

Denis Felix delved into photography in 1985, at first for fashion and advertising industries.
Nowadays, Félix’s intent is to showcase the common man as a depositary of tradition and history. His first exhibition, Ouatialy & Bankoro, featured populations of Mali and Guinea.
In 1998 he exhibited two series: Hermès among the Stars and The Folds of Life, commissioned by Hermès.
The exhibition The Thread of Life was presented at the Galway Arts Festival, Ireland. His series on the Dalits and Indian forest tribes were displayed in Paris, and for the Cultural year of India.
